Elizabeth Dee Gallery was founded under sole ownership in 2002.  The gallery is committed to the representation of esteemed international artists who employ rigorous practices within an innovative curatorial model.  Our intergenerational program reflects socio-political topics and questions issues and modes of representation. The gallery subscribes to the highest standards of ethical practice and integrity within the profession.
 
The gallery’s exhibitions receive regular reviews in a variety of national and international critical contexts, including Texte zur Kunst, The New York Times, Artforum, and Frieze. Our artists are exhibited and collected by a range of institutions, including the Tate Modern, the Whitney Museum of American Art, the Solomon R. Guggenheim Museum, MoMA, New York, LACMA, MOCA, Los Angeles, the Ludwig Museum, Colonge and the New Museum of Contemporary Art, New York. Six of our member artists have participated in the 2008, 2006 and 2004 Whitney Biennials, as well as the Moscow, Lyon, Seville Biennials.
